New page: Inspiration
"new pages" seek to allow the reader to connect and personalize with their fellow students through the yearbook
compile a handful of favorite inspiring quotes from the student body
copy: "Every so often you will come across a lyric from a song on the radio, a line in a novel you happen to be reading at the moment, and it will move you. You will find that song just to play it again, you will stop where you are in the book and reread the words, slowly. You like the way it rings. You can feel the way it resonates with your life. At your darkest or brightest moments, you might find yourself repeating the words and creating your own personal meaning and interpretation. Here is a collection of some favorite quotes, hoping to inspire you as well."
New page: Food
compile student-submitted images of food to fill square and circle photo boxes
take polls in the forms of various bar graphs
copy: "Food is a medium that connects yet distinguishes all the different kinds of people in the world. Despite individual region, nationality, and taste, food establishes itself as a common hobby, form of design, guilty indulgence, or sweet retreat. Through food, a person can express what they grew up with and the places they've been. There is nothing more satisfying than the textures and flavors of a fulfilling meal, able to satiate the most basic of human senses. Although these foods cannot be tasted or smelled through the page, some students share their most loved foods."
Portraits
make the portraits page less tedious and more interesting to view by adding highlights of school events and/or polls, photos, and student quotes
